$1.2B exit to Unilever - The Grüns Multiple Angles Playbook

Everyone is obsessing over the gummy. Nobody is looking at the acquisition machine that actually scaled it.

When we launched a gummy nutritional supplement in Germany, I learned exactly how brutal the D2C wellness space is. We realized quickly: you don't win on ingredients. You win on trust and messaging architecture.

Grüns did the exact opposite. They built a machine and scaled it horizontally across different avatars. Go to the Meta Ad Library. Search gruns.co. Count the landing pages. I counted over 99.

Same gummy. Same offer block. Same trust bar. Same subscribe-and-save. What changes: the hook, the hero, the first three sections, and the testimonials.

Then they added a layer most brands skip entirely. Each influencer gets their own dedicated landing page. Lisa Rinna. Robby Berger. Not just whitelisted ads — pages where the creator IS the angle. Their authority, their audience, their narrative. Same chassis underneath. This isn't creative testing. It's angle multiplication.

An angle isn't a different headline on the same page. It's a different story for a different pain, sold to a different person — with the exact same product underneath.

How many genuinely different (but really different) landing pages are you running right now?
